NOVEMBER 24 TEACHERS’ DAY WAS CELEBRATED AT YDU ATATURK FACULTY OF EDUCATION

November 24 Teachers’ Day was celebrated with enthusiasm with an online ceremony organized by the Classroom Teaching and Preschool Education Departments affiliated to the Near East University Atatürk Faculty of Education Department of Basic Education.

The ceremony, which was held with the participation of Atatürk Faculty of Education deputy dean, vice deans, department heads, faculty members and students, started with a moment of silence and the Turkish National Anthem for the great leader Atatürk and our martyrs. Many students voluntarily took part in the online ceremony prepared by the Primary Education and Pre-School Teaching students. After the speech stating the meaning and importance of the day, poems were read and songs were sung.

The quotations of the head teacher Atatürk for the teachers were included. At the end of the ceremony, the surprise video messages prepared by the students for their teachers caused emotional moments. While the classroom teachers and pre-school teacher candidates expressed their awareness that they will perform their profession in the future with a secular, contemporary and always development-oriented approach, their professional enthusiasm was appreciated by their teachers.
