Atatürk Faculty of Education, Educational Sciences, Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling 4th year students prepared an awareness video on “Child Neglect and Abuse” with their lecturers Msc. Yasemin Sorakın within the scope of Community Service Practices course and the video has been published. All types of neglect and abuse leave permanent effects on children. These effect might be physical and emotional which might produce lifelong effects. This video aimed to increase awareness on child neglect and abuse.

According to information provided by Near East University Public Relations Directorate, the scenario of the video was prepared with the collaboration of students from the department of Faculty of Communication and the video attracted intensive attention.
