Near East University Atatürk Faculty of Education 2018-2019 Fall Semester Graduation Ceremony was held at Faculty of Communication Orange Fall.
According to Near East University Press and Public Relations Directorate, Near East University Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt, Atatürk Faculty of Education Dean Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Mirici, Institute Managers, deans, vice deans, instructors, students and families attended to the graduation ceremony.
The ceremony started with a moment of silence and reading Turkish National Anthem and Assist. Prof. Dr. Erkan Sülün and Atakan Sarı presented a music recital. In the ceremony, Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt, Atatürk Faculty of Education Dean Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Mirici and faculty best performing student and graduate of Department of Special Education Erdal Korkmazcan gave a speech.
Prof. Dr. Mirici: “Graduation does not mean a separation…”
Dean of Atatürk Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakki Mirici congratulated the graduates of a brand educational institution such as Near East University for the degree they deserved and stated that graduation does not imply a separation. Prof. Dr. Mirici reminded the graduates that they are with them all the time in their lives and they are proud of their achievements in their professional lives.

Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt mentioned about achievements in academic performance of Near East University and emphasized that number of articles published in international esteemed indexes is leader among TRNC universities. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kurt congratulated the graduates and stated that they should continue the communication with their university regarding their professional development.

Erdal Korkmazcan, a graduate of the Department of Special Education Education, stated in his speech on behalf of the students that the experienced the difference of Near East University as a brand educational institution and that he was grateful to his family and faculty members in this process.
The 2018-2019 Fall Term Graduation Ceremony of Atatürk Faculty of Education ended with the introduction of diplomas and the traditional ceremony of throwing caps.
