“INTEGRATION OF TECHNOLOGY IN SPECIAL EDUCATION” Panel was held
A panel titled as “Integration of Technology in Specıal Education” was organized within “3 December Disapled People Day” in collaboration between the departments of Special Education and Computer Education and Educational Technologies. Assist. Prof. Dr. Sezer KANBUL and Assist. Prof. Dr. Emrah SOYKAN from the department of Computer Education and Educational Technologies and Dr. Başak BAĞLAMA from the department of Special Education provided theoretical and practical examples and make a presentation about the integration of technology in special education based on current scientific approaches.

Special Education and Technology should be supported with interdisciplinary studies
Assist. Prof. Dr. Sezer KANBUL and Assist. Prof. Dr. Emrah SOYKAN emphasized the need for professionals from the area of educational Technologies who are able to develop technological tools for enhancing the lives of individuals with special needs and mentioned about the roles of Computer and Educational Technologies teachers in this process. In addition, Dr. Başak BAĞLAMA indicated that the use of technological tools in special education is really important and effective in gaining academic, social, daily life and adaptive skills and this is supported with current and scientific research results.
