Lecturers and students of Near East University Ataturk Faculty of Education Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling visited Çağlayan Child Village within Community Service Practices course. Lecturers Dr. Gizem Öneri Uzun, Dr. Pembe Can, MSc. Yasemin Sorakın Ballı and MSc. Şengül Başarı and their students obtained 10.000 TL from the charity sale organized within Community Service Practices course, they bought a park bed, slippers, bag, underwear, scarf, bruise, gloves, stationery equipment, pharmacy equipment and some market products and delivered them to the administrators of Çağlayan Child Village. In addition, students and lecturers had talk, played and spent quality time together with the children in the village. It was so significant that children were very happy during these times.

Similar activities are being organized with other student groups who are receiving “Community Service Practices” course at Ataturk Faculty of Education within other institutions. As Near East University Ataturk Faculty of Education family, we are proud of our lecturers and students who organize these types of activities.
