Projects prepared by Near East University Atatürk Faculty of Education, Department of Special Education students with their lecturer MSc. Yücehan Yücesoy within “Teaching Arts Skills in Special Education” course were exhibited in “Arts in Special Education” Exhibition which was held at NEU Fine Arts Exhibition Hall in 16 May.

Atatürk Faculty of Education lecturers actively participated in the exhibition. Chair of Department of Special Education Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mukaddes Sakallı Demirok emphasized that teaching arts skills is very important for students with special needs as academic and social skills and presented thanks to MSc. Yücehan Yücesoy and students for their work within their course.

Objects from Clay, Point Work, Meronymy Work, Origamy Models and T-shirt prints from Linoleum Work were exhibited within “Teaching Arts Skills in Special Education” course. Lecturer MSc. Yücehan Yücesoy presented thanks to preservice special education teachers for their contributions within this course and remind the importance of teaching arts skills to students with special needs.
