Serap MERAL KARABACAK was born in 1983 in Bornova. After completing her education at TARAL Foreign Language High School in 2001, she graduated from Ankara University Paleoanthropology Department in 2006. After graduating from the Near East University Special Education Department in 2016, she completed her master's degree in the Special Education Department of the same university. During her graduate education, she worked as a lecturer at Atatürk Education Faculty. After completing her master's education in 2018, she started the Special Education Doctorate program of the same university. She is currently working as a department coordinator in the Department of Special Education Teaching in the Department of Special Education at the University of Kyrenia, as well as a lecturer at the Near East University. Serap MERAL KARABACAK's research topics include gifted children, children with different development and special education needs, and behavior management in these children.
