Irada Melikova Amirjanov was born on March, 1957, in Baku.  In 1972 she graduated from Music School named “Vagif Mustafazade” in piano class.  In 1976 she graduated as a piano teacher from Music College named “Asaf Zeynali”.  After graduating in 1984 from Azerbaijan Music Academy as a music piano teacher and piano and organ soloist she joined the graduate program of the same institute and in 1985 she graduated with MS degree.  From 1976 up to 1979 she worked as a piano teacher and then as a head of piano department of Music school in Shemaha city (Azerbaijan).  From 1979 up to 1993 she worked as a piano teacher in Baku Art School (Azerbaijan).  In 1993 Irada Melikova moved to Moscow (Russia) and she joined as a piano teacher to the Music Education Centre “Mozart”, and later she was appointed as a chairperson of the same institute.  In 2000-2001 she passed the advanced music educational courses from Moscow Institute of Higher Education.  In Moscow Irada Melikova as a piano soloist participated in many concerts:  the concert in Literature’s centre of Moscow devoted to 100th anniversary of Nazim Hikmet, the concert in Moscow Nekrasov Library (2003), the music evenings in Moscow Teaching Centre (2005), etc.  After moving to Cyprus she had worked from 2008 up to 2011 as a piano teacher in Lefkosha Music Education Centre. In 2008 Irada Melikova joined to classical Trio “Exprompte” and participated in many concerts of Cyprus Music Spring Festival. From October, 2013 Irada Melikova is a member of teaching staff of Music Education Department of Near East University.
