Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatma KÖPRÜLÜ

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatma KÖPRÜLÜ was born in 1981, Nicosia. She graduated from the Near East University English Language Teaching Department in 2002 and received her master’s degree in 2005 from the same department. In 2018 she gained her doctorate from Near East University, Faculty of Educational Sciences, Department of Educational Administration Supervision, Planning and Economics. She became an Assistant Professor in June 2019, and in March 2022 she became an Associate Professor.

In 2003, she started working as a lecturer at Near East University Preparatory School, and between 2018-2020, she was the Curriculum and Material Improvement Coordinator of the Near East University English Preparatory School. She was a lecturer in the Common Courses Coordination Unit and between November 2021-2022, she was the Vice Coordinator for the Common Courses. Apart from these, she was also a lecturer in the E-Study Box Course. Since 2023, she has been an active lecturer at the Ataturk Faculty of Education, Department of Classroom Teaching. In 2023, she was assigned as the Vice Head of the Department of Basic Education.

Having attended many national and international conferences, seminars, workshops, and courses and received many certificates throughout her teaching career, she has published many articles in WOS (Web of Science) and SCOPUS. She has two (3) international academic chapter books published by reputable publishing houses. She is fluent in Turkish, English as well as Arabic. She is married and has twins.
