Asst. Assoc. Dr. Şengül Başarı was born on May 5, 1987 in Bostancı. From the Kurtuluş Primary School in the 1998-1999 academic year, from the Şehit Turgut Secondary School in the 2000-2001 academic year, in the 2003-2004 academic year; He graduated from Güzelyurt Kurtuluş High School. In the 2004-2005 academic year, she started her undergraduate education at the Near East University Atatürk Faculty of Education, Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling. In 2011, he completed his master's degree at the Near East University Institute of Educational Sciences, Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling and started his doctorate education in the same department in 2014-2015. In 2019, she completed her doctorate at the Near East University Institute of Educational Sciences, Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling. She gave in-service seminars to Near East College teachers on communication in adolescents, and aggression and anger to schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education. In addition, "Bibliotherapy Practices" and "Positive Psychology Conference" workshops were organized for students studying in the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department. She is still working as a lecturer in the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling at Near East University Atatürk Faculty of Education. In addition, he serves as the Graduate Courses Coordinator under the Joint Courses Coordinator and the Courses Commission under the Education Unit at the university he is affiliated with. She also serves as a member of the board of directors of the Educational Sciences Research Center established at the University in 2023, and continues his duty as a member of the Horizontal/Vertical transfer commission at Atatürk Faculty of Education, which came into force in 2023. Guidance and psychological counseling, school success in adolescents, and especially bibliotherapy are among the subjects she studies, but she has papers presentations and indexed articles related to the subjects she worked in both national and international conferences. She is married with one child.
