Assist. Prof. Dr. Emine KIVANÇ ÖZTUĞ

Assistant Professor Dr. Emine Kıvanç Öztuğ, born in Kyrenia in 1978, completed her primary and secondary education in Cyprus. She earned her undergraduate degree in Music Teaching from Gazi University's Department of Music in 2000, followed by a Master's in Music Teaching at the same university in 2004, and a Ph.D. in Fine Arts Education from Ankara University in 2013. During her postgraduate studies, she served as a part-time piano instructor at Gazi University, and she also worked as an accompanist at concerts both domestically and internationally. Additionally, she contributed as an accompanist to the Polyphonic Children's Choir Association from 1998 to 2000 and served as a piano teacher at Ankara Sevda Cenap And Music Foundation from 2004 to 2010. Currently, she holds a position as a lecturer at Ataturk Faculty of Education in Near East University, where she teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Moreover, Dr. Öztuğ serves as the chairperson of the Creative Drama Education Postgraduate Department, Chair Of Music Education and Chair Of Art Education.  She is married and has two children.
