Ilias Abdullin Performed Solo in Tokyo Philharmonic

Faculty of Fine Arts Education Department of Music Education Assist. Prof. Dr. Ilias Abdullin performed as a special guest at the concert organized by Tokyo Philharmonic in memory of world-renowned pianist Alexei Sultanov.

According to the information provided by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, Ilias Abdullin received great appreciation in the solo performance in the concert organized by the University of Tokyo with the participation of faculty members from different music schools.

The participants performed Mozart, Brahms, Albinoni, Saydashev’s works and Ilias Abdullin’s Albinoni Adagio”, Surrealistic Fantasy,“ Samurai’s Dream ”, Saydashev“ Goodbay, Matherland ”, Russian Song“ Black Eyes. In the concert, Abdullin received a great deal of attention, also presenting a modern version of his work “Samurai Fantezi” which is an old Japanese lullaby that he arranged himself.

Concert organizer producer Ms. Kazuko Narumi said that the Samurai Fantezi lullaby organized by Ilias Abdullin tells the audience the deep feelings of the Japanese people in the best way with a musical instrument.

He gave a seminar on violin works.

After the concert, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ilias Abdullin also attended the University of Tokyo and gave a seminar on modern techniques and violin studies in music teaching at an event organized by Sacred Heart University Music Department faculty and students.
